Egypt is a beguiling land steeped in ancient history and unrivaled artifacts, a country rich in heritage that has inspired the imaginations of travelers for centuries. This is where vast desert dunes meet coral reefs and traditional feluccas drift down the majestic Nile – the longest river in the world. Sept 22
Guests are free to choose their preferred flight arrangements. We recommend nonstop New York/JFK to Cairo (departs at 12:15PM).
Sept 23
Travelers can arrive in Cairo anytime today. On arrival, guests will purchase a visa at the airport arrival ($25USD). You will be met and transferred to the *Hyatt West Hotel. Private transfers to the hotel are available for those who do not arrive with the group ($165 per person to meet, assist and transfer). Dinner at the hotel. D
Sept 24
After breakfast at the hotel, you’re off to visit the new National Museum of Egyptian Civilization where you’ll see mummies of Biblical times including: the Pharaoh who was known to Father Moses, the Pharaoh who chased Moses at the Red Sea, the Pharaoh who tried to take Sarah as his wife, Hatshepsut the Queen and daughter of Pharaoh who raised Moses and more. We will have lunch, a visit the Giza Plateau and an opportunity go deep inside one of the three, main pyramids on the Giza complex. Afterward, visit the Dream Stele between the feet of the Sphinx. Dinner at hotel. BD
Sept 25
Today, we’ll be exploring Serapeum, Saqqara and Memphis. You will have an early breakfast and then drive to the mysterious and ancient Serapeum. These sarcophagi cannot be explained, but Biblically, we will learn the true story of the site. After the Serapeum, we travel to ancient Saqqara which has unopened tombs and mummies from 4,000 years ago. Next, we visit Biblical Memphis which, as you will learn, is of great importance to the Old Testament calendar and to the knowledge that Moses brought with him through the Exodus.
We will have lunch and then visit the rarely visited sites of Joseph’s leadership as Vizier to Pharaoh. You will wander around and touch the mud bricks of the huge storehouses that cover hundreds of acres, as outlined in Genesis 41:56. Next, we will see the actual canals that Joseph built to produce the abundant food needed for the upcoming famine. BD

Visit the Egyptian Museum and the pillar of On in Heliopolis and lunch. We board our nonstop flight from Cairo to Tabuk (departs at 9:00PM) in the NW region of Saudi Arabia. We stay one night in Tabuk (The Skyline, Lilac Park, or similar, depending on availability). BL
Sept 27
After an early departure for an ancient Egyptian boat and Hebrew inscription, we visit the Split Rock of Horeb and amazing inscriptions near Rephadim. Also near this site, we will visit some ancient stone circles that Jewish scholars attribute to Hebrew and/or Amalekite burial sites. Some routes and site visits may be exchanged for others due to NEOM construction schedules. Arrive in Haql and check into our hotel (The Haql Vista or new hotel in Al-Bad, depending on availability). Sept 28
Today, we’ll drive to Al Bid and see Midian, visit Jethro’s Tombs and the Well of Moses. We will study the important genealogy of Jethro and the earlier Patriarchs and their connection to this city and Midian itself. Enjoy a delightful picnic lunch on the iconic Red Sea, and stand on miracle ground at Nuweiba, the crossing site at the Red Sea. Overnight Haql, same hotel. BLD
Sept 29
Check out of our hotel to overnight at Jabal al Lawz, camping. Alternately, guests can choose to return to the hotel if they wish. You can leave large bags at the hotel in the luggage safe room and take your overnight bag with you today, as you’ll spend tonight at the camp. Bring your necessary toiletries, climbing attire, and a change of clothes for the overnight with you. Limited hot water showers at camp. (Bring a towel if you wish to shower.)
Depart for Jabal al-Lawz with its dramatic landscape. Visit the site of Moses’ Altar at the base of the mountain, cleansing pools, the pillars of the 12 Tribes of Israel, and important inscriptions. Explore the cemetery of the 3,000 slain by the Levites and the Golden Calf worship site (Aaron’s Altar). Overnight at **mobile campsite. BLD
Sept 30
0600: Climbers depart camp for the climb. Those not climbing will depart later to see the inscriptions of the Amalekite warriors. Once everyone has returned from the climb, visit another set of important Exodus sites and any other areas that may have been missed due to NEOM construction schedules. Overnight back at our Haql hotel. BLD
Oct 1
Explore Exodus inscription sites and an oasis said to be Elim or an ancient “high place” of the Amalekites. After enjoying an exquisite farewell dinner in Tabuk, make your way to the Tabuk airport for your flight back to Cairo. A short layover and nonstop flight back to New York JFK brings the journey to a close.
Optionally, add a two-day Petra extension and then you would return home from Amman.
